PCI “hits a home run”!- On September13th, 2012 Physicians’ Capital Invest-ments (“PCI”) in conjunction with Fresenius Medical Care (“FMC”) and Balboa Nephrology Medical Group (“BNMG”) broke ground on the Eastlake Complex lo-cated at 2391 Boswell Rd., Chula Vista, CA 91914. The building, a former indoor batting cage complex, is being gutted and repurposed to house a state-of-the art 24-station dialysis center. “I am amazed at the city support PCI has received throughout the permitting and approval process for this project. They are very appreciative of our efforts to re-purpose an existing and blight-ed building for the benefit of the citizens of Chula Vista in general and the Eastlake community in particular. They have truly acted as a partner to PCI, FMC and BNMG”, said Pedro Juan Vergne-Morell, PCI CEO. In addition to Chula Vista dignitaries, PCI, FMC and BNMG staff members, this event was sup-ported by the following speakers: the Honorable Pamela Bensoussan, Chula Vista City Council Member; Dr. Steven M. Steinberg, CEO of BNMG; Shaun Edelstein, COO of BNMG; Anna Charvez, FMC RVP of Operations and Pedro Juan Vergne-Morell, CEO of PCI.

Written by Brad Buck A new dialysis clinic in Española will better serve patients in northern New Mexico, said officials with Fresenius Medical Care North America. Company officials broke ground on the 8,000-square-foot facility last week and hope to open it for patient care by the end of this year. Debbie Turiciano, director of operations for Fresenius, said the new clinic will be on Calle de la Merced in Española and will replace the old, 5,000-square-foot dialysis center on Riverside Drive. “We’ve outgrown that clinic,” she said. Some 76 patients use the current clinic. They and 30 more patients are expected to get treatment in the new facility, Turiciano said.

Published Monday, April 20, 2009 6:05 AM New dialysis clinic ceremony Thursday Fresenius Medical Care North America, operator of national network of dialysis facilities, will break ground this week on a new dialysis facility in Bryan. The community is invited to the groundbreaking ceremony at 11 a.m. Thursday at 1612 N. Texas Ave. The 7,344-square-foot clinic is expected to be completed this fall.
